Replacing Diesel Generators On Highway Tunneling Project
China Communications Construction Company was contracted to perform the Zentian highway tunneling works as part of the Guangzhou suburban ring road expansion project. The project required a solution that could reduce diesel generator capacity and fuel costs while handling varying power loads.

The conventional setup used 2,500kVA diesel generators to power 6 air compressors (total 792kW). This resulted in:

  • Excessive noise pollution
